The Transit Connect Family One Concept from Ford is aimed at families. As per the Ford’s design team, its meant for “the coolest mom, and most of the features are aimed at kids.

The rear seats have a kid-friendly entertainment system with a touch-screen monitor on the center console. There are toy scooters folded and packed in the rear door, the storage area also has a place for walkie talkies, Legos, backpacks, a “virtual lava lamp” and at the top a radio frequency identification antenna in the rear ceiling. According to Chiwei Lee, the lead designer on “the Family One The car is all about fun and engagement.”

Bamboo is the fastest-growing plant, it’s woody perennial evergreen that can thrive without the use of pesticides and grow quickly in different climates. In many countries Bamboo plant has high cultural significance and it’s used extensively in gardens and as a building material. Washington-based, biotech lab, Boo-Shoot Gardens has produced a major achievement in tissue-culture science that enables rapid propagation of bamboo plants. Jackie Heinricher the Owner of Boo-shoot launched Boo-Shoot in 1998. Now Jackie Heinricher with their senior scientist Randy Burr, will supply wholesalers with over two million plants annually.

Boo-Shoot’s technology will help to meet the growing demand of bamboo in wood products, soil stabilization, reforestation paper pulp, textiles, flooring, and all sorts of household items. Since bamboo sequesters carbon 4x as efficiently as hardwood trees, growing bamboo will be good for the planet and for the air we breathe.

The site suggested “No Jacket Needed” to me tracking my Indian IP, the city where I am located, which have 27 degree temperature on today. :) I hope this site is quite helpful for the frequent travelers.

For the past 34 years, Lake Superior State University every December release the list of words to be banished from Queen’s English for mis use, overuse. This year they’ve released a list of words that should never be used again to avoid massive overuse and general uselessness in the preceding year.

Environmental buzzwords are getting the axe this year. “Green” and “going green” received the most nominations.

GREEN – The ubiquitous ‘Green’ and all of its variables, such as ‘going green,’ ‘building green,’ ‘greening,’ ‘green technology,’ ‘green solutions’ and more, drew the most attention from those who sent in nominations this year.

“This phrase makes me go green every time I hear it.” Danielle Brunin, Lawrence, Kansas.

“I’m all for being environmentally responsible, but this ‘green’ needs to be nipped in the bud.” Valerie Gilson, Gales Ferry, Conn.
